Dear Friends in Christ Jesus,

This is your beloved Parish Priest speaking to you!

I greet you all in the name of Triune God who invites us to live together in love and harmony as one human family with the vision of “ITHU NAMMA KUDUMBAM”. On behalf of St.Xavier’s Cathedral Parish family, I am delighted to initiate this website to share with each other, our lives and mission in and through our Cathedral parish, as brothers and sisters of our Lord Jesus Christ. St. Xavier’s Cathedral Parish family consists of 1600 devoted Catholic families, who by the constant intercession of St.Xavier and Mother Mary lead committed Christian life. This St. Xavier’s Parish Family is lead and accompanied in faith and love by the spirit filled animation of Rev. Fr. Santiago S the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. S Selvin the Assistant Parish Priest.

St. Xavier’s Cathedral Church is an ancient Church which has given birth to many parishes around Palayamkottai. At present there are seven sub-stations and 58 Basic Christian Communities in the parish, who effectively participate in all the ecclesial activities and create life in the parish.

Through this website I invite you all to visit all the parish activities, especially the LIVE MASS on every Sunday and all the Solemnities. All the information regarding our parish and its substations can be viewed here.
