St.Antony's Church - South Vettia Panthi

South part of the village Theertharapuram is called as South Vettia panthi. Around 150 Catholics live over here. A church was erected at the time of Rev. Fr. James Nicholas, the then parish priest of Palayamkottai and was blessed by the most Rev. Bishop Jude Paul Raj of Palayamkottai on 01.06.2001.

Holy Eucharist is being offered twice a month and feast of St.Antony is celebrated with the hoisting of the flag on the ist of June and it ends on 13th of that month.
